Plus offers the fasted mobile data transmission services according to UKE survey

According to the mobile services quality survey, commissioned by the Office of Electronic Communication (UKE), Plus offers the fastest mobile data transmission services. Plus’s mean download rate was 25.19 Mbps. The result was two times higher than the one achieved by Play and 25% better than T-Mobile’s or Orange’s.

Network operator is rolling out the first in Poland LTE-Advanced network (300 Mbps)

The speed which can be achieved using the LTE Advanced technology is possible thanks to combination of bands from two radio frequencies - 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz, with Plus using 20 MHz of spectrum in each frequency band. First base stations supporting LTE-Advanced technology have already been built in Warsaw.

Cyfrowy Polsat Group, through Polkomtel, acquired Litenite - a company controlling 66% of shares in Midas Group. Under the second stage of the transaction a tender offer for shares was announced to buy back the remaining 34% of shares of Midas Group. The transaction will be financed from Cyfrowy Polsat Group’s own resources.

Polsat announced the launch of a new program for filmmakers
